Video Interview | Max Hegerman | Kyoorius

Max Hegerman is an expatriate (update: he has now moved out of India) who has been working with advertising giants in India since last few years. Recently, he assumed the role of  managing director at Edelman Digital, India. He will lead the expansion of Edelman India’s growing digital offering. Previously, he has also worked with JWT and Tribal DDB. He has spent past eleven+ years integrating digital capabilities into traditional advertising agencies. At Designyatra 2013, we caught up with Hegerman for a short conversation about digital in India.

Video Interview | João Cardoso Fernandes (Isobar) | Kyoorius

João Cardoso Fernandes is the chief creative officer at VIEW Isobar. João is trained in computer science and mathematics. Attempts to operate and understand his gadgets, like the VCR instigated João’s interest in developing interfaces that would allow humans and machines to interact in a simpler and more productive manner. After pursuing a career in advertising, he co-founded VIEW in 2000, which is now the Portuguese branch of the Isobar Network.

Video Interview | Laura Jordan Bambach | Kyoorius

Laura Jordan Bambach has recently joined  Mr. President as a creative partner and is also the co-founder and director of SheSays, a volunteer organization that encourages women to take up digital careers in creative industries and is working in15 cities across the world. SheSays also presented another interesting venture, Shout, which is a platform where women in digital advertising can collaborate. She is also the founder ofCannt festival, which runs alongside Cannes as an alternative for those who can’t make it to the Cannes.  She is also the president of D&AD for this year, 2013-14.
In this interview, Bambach talks to us about a subject dearest to her heart – women in digital advertising.

Video Interview: Andy Goodman

Andy Goodman is the managing director at Fjord, Madrid. Goodman has been one of the early pioneers of the service design industry and joined Fjord as director of service design. He confesses that he has been fascinated by science from the moment he stopped studying it at school. This year, in May, Fjord was acquired by the consulting giant Accenture and became a part of Accenture Interactive. Just three months into the merger, Goodman tells us about the changes and developments in Fjord and perceptions about digital still prevalent in Spain. Watch the interview here

PATRICK RONA, PRESIDENT, TRIBAL DDB ASIA-PACIFIC


“The device explosion is going to happen” In January 2012, Patrick Rona, who was earlier president of digital agency Tribal DDB Worldwide Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and chief digital officer of DDB Group EMEA, was relocated to Singapore as Tribal DDB Asia Pacific's new president. Rona had joined Tribal DDB from OgilvyOne, where he ran the global Unilever digital marketing account. Before this, he was at Digitas in London. Payal Khandelwal of FE caught up with Rona during his recent trip to India to know more about his experiences in the Asian market, the challenges that are unique to India and expected trends in mobile and social media. Hernán Sánchez Neira is the chief executive officer of Havas Media Intelligence, a network of Havas Media which develops and implements advanced solutions in the field of business and consumer insights, strategic planning and accountability. Within this role, he oversees global business units such as The Havas Media Labs, Catalyst, Marketing Technology and the group's research and modelling divisions. In 2010, he was declared a “Media Maven” by Adage for being the brain behind Havas Media's global research Brand Sustainable Futures.
